Privacy & safety

In danger right now? Call 911.

Sisterhood Lifeline is not an emergency response service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. For domestic violence support, call the National DV Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: a name or nickname, the contact details you choose, a general area (never a street address), and what kind of help you need or how you'd like to volunteer. We don't track your location, and we don't run ads.

Who can see it

Requests, volunteer forms, and prayer requests are stored in a secured database. Only signed-in Sisterhood Lifeline administrators can view them. They are never displayed publicly — there is no public directory, comment section, or member profile.

How it's used

To contact you about your request or volunteering, and to plan help. We don't sell your information. We may share the minimum needed with a volunteer helping you (for example, a first name and pickup area) — we'll talk with you first.

What we can't promise

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online system is perfectly secure, and we're a volunteer-run network. Please don't share medical, financial, or other highly sensitive details through the app.

Staying safe

If someone monitors your phone, consider using a trusted device, choosing a safe contact time, and unchecking "safe to leave a message." You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting the team.
